  • Yes, it’s perfectly fine to come alone! We started this community so that people can meet and build friendships. Many people come alone. We like to say, come as strangers, leave as friends.

  • No refunds or credits unless the event is canceled. We cannot issue refunds or credits for anyone testing positive for COVID or other illnesses. If the event is rescheduled due to inclement weather (dangerous or unsuitable for the course of activity), ticket purchasers will be offered refunds if they notify us within 72hrs that they are unable to attend the rescheduled date. We strive to make Outsiders a diverse and affordable adventure opportunity for everyone. Keeping our ticket prices accessible to everyone is one of the main reasons for our no-refund policy. If you are not dressed in weather-appropriate gear or if your attire is deemed unsuitable for the activity, we have the right to turn you down for the safety of the group and yourself. If you have any medical conditions or injuries that might prevent you from completing the trip, please consult your physician to confirm your ability to partake in the activities safely. Gloves and hats are required for winter trips Windproof gear is a must for winter trips

  • We have people of all ages joining us on our adventures. The majority of attendees are between the ages 25-44.

  • Our weather policy depends on the activity we are partaking in. We always reach out to the officials to confirm it is safe to go on an activity if the weather is questionable. If it is deemed safe then the event happens as planned. If not then please refer to our refund policy.

  • We offer a variety of outdoor events and activities, including:

  • The age requirements vary depending on the specific event or activity. Please contact us for more information.

  • Dogs are allowed sometimes. This is determined on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us if you are interested in bringing your dog.

  • The dress code for our events and activities varies depending on the specific event, season, or activity.

    If you are not dressed in weather-appropriate gear or if your attire is deemed unsuitable for the activity, we have the right to turn you down for the safety of the group and yourself.

  • Yes we do! If you’re interested in getting more information about our corporate or private outings please email us at info@joinoutsiders.com with “Private OUTSIDERS outing inquiry” in the subject heading.

  • Yes, on occasion we do allow people to join us directly at the trailhead/ activity location. We determine this on a case-by-case basis. Some trail locations may not have cell phone reception and can be hard to find the exact location. If you’re interested in joining us directly at the activity location, please inquire by emailing info@joinoutsiders.com
